The Police State Recognizance Challenge Part 3:

I don’t have time to write a full article for this, so I’ll get right to the point: Does the following video resemble the America you knew growing up? Or does it look like something went terribly wrong instead?

And if you missed the first two challenges, I will link to them here (#1) and here (#2).

Okay, on to the video…

By the way, I want to emphasize that I’m not sharing this video with any intention of using it to demonize law enforcement. After all, I got the sense that at least some of the officers in this video were embarrassed and ashamed of what they were forced to do. Besides, what can one reasonably expect them to do? Be the hero that disobeys their orders and throws their career away over a lemonade stand? Hopefully they at least thought about it, but perhaps decided that the cause just wasn’t important enough.

However, I can’t speak for all of the officers since it appeared that some of them were enjoying themselves a little too much… that woman’s behavior specifically should give everyone the chills. Does it make you feel better knowing there are officers like that who mindlessly follow orders and abuse their authority no matter how absurd it looks? Nah, me neither… hey lady, don’t forget who you are supposed to be working for… and that’s we the people!

We are truly living in some crazy times… I’m just glad someone got this on video because I never would have believed this story without it!

Ron Paul Throws his Gloves off at the TSA!

Wow, where do I begin? First of all, everyone that doesn’t know who Ron Paul is needs to watch this video ASAP! This guy is the real deal, and the bill he’s introducing should be the new model for every other bill in Washington just on length alone (1-1/2 paragraphs)!

Getting back to the video, this 5 minute speech by Ron Paul should be a wake-up call to anyone unfamiliar with him and show you how a politician should be. A true civil servant who represents the people, and not special interests and corporate bribes. There are good reasons the establishment and media try to keep Paul hidden, keep him out of the big televised debates, and try to convince you he’s kooky.

Funny, he gets so upset in this speech that he stutters a few times, but I don’t care. I want to give this guy a hug! Ron Paul 2012!

Political Apology Following an Election Day Meltdown?

I apologize to anyone who read and was offended by my angry political rant yesterday. Being very politically opinionated combined with election day created an overload of frustration. I really don’t feel that the Republicans or Fox News have much credibility, but I’m still happy about the overall message the people sent to Washington yesterday. Make a difference or you will get voted out. But if I see another diabolical 2,000 page bill written in legalese pass, I officially lose all hope…

(note: I honestly couldn’t find the rant I’m referring to as I’m transferring this data to my new blog. I think I wrote it “off the cuff,” and never saved it. Oh well, sometimes a person needs to vent their political frustrations, what can I say? At least it was election day…)
